Main treatment approaches

-       Cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT)

-       Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR)

-       Clinical Hypnotherapy

-       NLP

-       Energy Psychology

While CBT, EMDR, Hypnotherapy and NLP are well known therapeutic approaches, energy psychology may not sound familiar to everyone. Energy Psychology (EP) is the name for a broad range of psychological treatments that utilize the human energy system. EP is based on the belief that painful physical and emotional symptoms are the result of a disruption in the energy system. Correcting the disruption restores the body’s balance and natural ability to heal itself.

Energy psychology techniques can bring about almost immediate relief from distressing emotions and can be very effective in treating most anxiety disorders as well as many of the most common emotional difficulties of everyday life.

Medico-legal services

A psychological medico-legal assessment is conducted in order to provide a psychological report that could be used in court, for example in order to obtain compensation for psychological damages caused by a traumatic event. The psychological assessment may be required to provide a diagnosis, establish a link between the trauma and physical injuries and client’s psychological condition and provide prognosis in relation to recovery including any recommendation of treatment.

Anna Wybraniec has been involved in preparing medico-legal reports for the Court since 2000.

She specialises in medico-legal assessments of clients suffering from personal injuries resulting from traumatic events, such as for example road traffic accidents. She has also assisted in criminal cases, IQ assessments for fitness to plea and assessments within The Mental Capacity Act.
